Hi Amanda, you don't know me at all and I don't know much about you but it seems that we may be kindred spirits. I stumbled onto your blog through Micha's blog and I just love the way you write and your views on life, faith, adoption, and other mysteries :) My husband and I have biological boy/girl twins and are smack in the middle of our first adoption right now. It's a crazy ride and it's good to know of people who live to tell about it. We also serve on committee for Young Life in our area so I'm very excited to hear about your trip to Africa. So thanks for your thoughts and I will be taking you up on all of your cyber-advice!
I loved reading your post, Amanda. And you are right about everything. I can imagine how difficult it is to leave, but I am can't wait to hear about what God had in store for you. I know you are going to be a gift to every woman you come into contact with there. I am so excited for you.
I get caught up in what God is doing in you. You are able to write it out so beautifully! I can't wait to see what God does with you and the team during this trip! :)
